About Us
Arriving and Departing
Rooms are normally available from midday on the day of arrival and we ask guests if they could vacate their room by 10.30am on the day of departure. If this does not meet with your plans then please ask and we will see what arrangement we can come to. We are quite happy to store your luggage, or for you to use the lounge or garden if you wish to arrive earlier or leave later.
If you would like tea or coffee on arrival or before you leave then in winter we can arrange this in the lounge in front of a real log fire, or in summer on the sunny south facing patio, or in the shady gazebo with views across the valley or in the evening sun on the small west facing terrace, depending which you prefer.
Breakfast
Food is served in our recently completed dining room. Breakfast is included in the price with a vegetarian option available if required. Any other dietary needs can be catered for with prior notice.

If these times do not fit in with your plans we will try to accommodate earlier or later breakfasts.
We offer a wide range of breakfast choices. You can help yourself from the buffet of fresh fruit and a variety of cereals and then enjoy a Continental or Full English breakfast or as an alternative scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
- Guests have free use of the gardens with country views across the valley.
- The guests sitting room has satellite television and log fires in the winter.
